Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 The Heydar Aliyev Foundation was created out of the desire to express our people's respect to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, who entered our history as the founder of an independent state, to reflect his rich spiritual heritage, to emphasize the importance of the Azerbaijani philosophy for our country, and to instill the ideas of national statehood in new generations.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which started its activities on May 10, 2004, actively participates in the construction of a new society by implementing various projects in education, health, culture, sports, science and technology, ecology, social and other fields, and contributes to the socio-economic development of the country.

At the same time, the Foundation organizes the exchange of scientists with well-known scientific research centers of foreign countries, helps to increase the creative and scientific potential of the country, develops the infrastructure of children's institutions, supports important researches in the field of ecology, promotes a healthy lifestyle, provides relevant information in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and abroad. It considers organizing conferences and seminars, as well as exhibitions of children, creative young people, and artists, supporting the establishment of religious tolerance, building civil society, and preserving national and moral values ​​in the process of integration into the globalized world, as priority issues in its activities.
