On March 4, an event named “Commemoration ceremony for Nazim Hikmat” dedicated to honor of the great poet of Turkic world Nazim Hikmat was held in the International Mugham Center by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Writers’ Union and Baku Yunus Emre Institution.
In the event, a book exhibition under the title “Nazim Hikmat of Turkic world” consisting of Nazim Hikmat’s life and work was opened by the National Library. At the exhibition, the poet’s books in Azerbaijani and foreign languages, and books written about him were on display.

The exhibition caused great interest of participants of the event.
