Within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the first Forum of Azerbaijani Language and Literature was held in Azerbaijan on September 1-3 with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The forum started in Shamakhi and continued in Baku on September 2 and 3.

Representatives of the Ministry of Culture, MPs, figures of science, literature and culture and other guests took part in the event.

During the event, a video dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Library named after M.F. Akhundzade was shown.

"Book industry in Azerbaijan: current situation and goals", "The impact of foreign literature entering the book market of our country on the national values ​​and thought system", "Book sale system: innovative solutions and credit mechanisms", "Mechanisms of state support for the development of the book industry" and "Citizens' Speeches were heard on the topics "responsibilities of the National Library of Azerbaijan in meeting the literary, scientific and information needs".

Later, a video dedicated to Azerbaijani literature was shown. The material also contained fragments reflecting the great leader Heydar Aliyev's concern for our literature.

The speakers highly appreciated the forum and noted the importance of holding the project every year.

At the end, there was a question-and-answer session on the discussed topics, and a commemorative photo was taken.
