Regarding with the application of new automated library system ALISA program in regions, 10-day courses are organized in the Azerbaijan National Library in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The training which opened on 10 August is the 4^th. The specialists of Centralized Library Systems of Gakh, Imishli, Zardab, Aghjabadi, Barda, and Aghstafa will learn MARC 21 format in order to work on ALISA program, and will acquire working habits in ALISA.

At the opening ceremony, Karim Tahirov, the director of the National Library noted that the training is held by the specialists of the National Library and Ultra company. He also asked the students to be active in the process of working, and to report the current problems immediately. In his speech K.Tahirov noted that during the training, the students will become familiar with the processes occurring in the National Library, and will watch new working methods and new services visually. At the end of the training, students who complete their training perfectly will be awarded certificates.
