October 20 is Zangilan city day.

Zangilan city day is celebrated for the first time in Azerbaijan. According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated July 31, 2023 on perpetuating the historical victory achieved in the Patriotic War and establishing the days of liberated cities, October 20 is celebrated as "Zangilan City Day". The establishment of this significant day is related to the liberation of the city of Zangilan from the occupation of the Armenian armed forces.

On this occasion, a virtual and traditional exhibition called "October 20 - Zangilan City Day" was presented to users in the National Library.
