On April 18, students of the V, VI, VII and VIII grades of Zangilan District No. 11 Secondary School, located in Sumgayit city, went on an excursion to the National Library.

First, the students visited the "Heydar Aliyev Corner" where the literature, documents, photographs and books donated by the Great Leader from his personal library were displayed. Later, the students were informed about the rich history of the National Library, its building, fund, and the rules for using the library.

 During the introduction to the library's exhibition hall, student youth hall, rare books and library museum, the students were informed about the literature, ancient and rare books, miniature book collection, and exhibits preserved here, and their questions were answered. Schoolchildren listened to the Fuzuli Cantata performed by Shavkat Alakbarova in the Music Publications and Recordings department.

At the end, commemorative pictures were taken. Schoolchildren left the National Library with unforgettable good feelings and wished to be readers of the library as students in the future.
