The Khojaly genocide has entered the history of Azerbaijan as one of the most terrible and tragic pages. The Khojaly massacre, the tragedy of the 20th century, is the result of a criminal policy of the Armenians. This tragedy, which took place at the end of the twentieth century, is one of the gravest crimes against not only the people of Azerbaijan, but also all humanity and mankind.

In accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the thirtieth anniversary of the Khojaly genocide and the Action Plan of the Ministry of Culture, the staff of the Azerbaijan National Library named after M.F.Akhundzadeh has prepared an electronic database entitled "Khojaly Genocide – The Tragedy Of The 20th Century".

The electronic database consists of the following sections: "Official Documents"; “Khojaly region”, “National Heroes of Khojaly”, “About the Genocide”, “Martyrs of Khojaly”, “Eyewitness Stories”, “Confessions of Armenians”, “Monuments destroyed by Armenians”, “Justice for Khojaly”, “Recognition of the Khojaly Genocide”, "Khojaly Genocide in Culture", "Photo Gallery" and "Video Gallery".
