On November 24, the National Library of Azerbaijan published "Memories about the great man Heydar Aliyev" dedicated to the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev by Vilayat Guliyev, a prominent socio-political figure, literary critic, scientist, doctor of philological sciences, and "Prominent personalities of Azerbaijan" in collaboration with the National Library of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The presentation of his "Vilayat Guliyev. Bibliography" books was held.

Director of the National Library, Karim Tahirov, who opened the event by greeting the guests, noted that the books " Heydar Aliyev. Memories about a Great Man" and "Vilayat Guliyev. Bibliography" authored by Vilayat Guliyev were gathered for the presentation ceremony of the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. In his speech, the director talked about the books written by the socio-political figure on the basis of archival materials about outstanding personalities who played an exceptional role in the history of the independence struggle of Azerbaijan.

In his speech, Farid Jafarov, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, first mentioned Vilayat Guliyev's services to the Motherland and highly appreciated his scientific activity. Later, he emphasized that it was a proud moment for the Ministry of Culture to participate in the creation of the presented bibliography, and the importance of books written on political topics, especially the works written on the history of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in addition to literature.

At the event, academician Nizami Jafarov, director of the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan, Rashad Majid, deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, Asif Rustamli, senior researcher of the Institute of Literature named after N. Ganjavi, Alovsat Agayev, general director of Azernashri, Alamdar Jabbarli, dean of the Faculty of Information and Document Management of BSU, attended the event. Scientists participated in their speeches and said that the works written by Vilayat Guliyev on the history of our Republic are distinguished by their style, that his books are one of the valuable examples of the genre of political memoirs, and that he authored "Heydar Aliyev. "Memories about a great man" said the importance of the book. Also, the content of the bibliography reflecting the extensive creative activity of Vilayat Guliyev was discussed in the speech.

In the end, the socio-political figure, literary critic and scientist Vilayat Guliyev expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the publication of the book.
