On November 20, 2023, Qatar's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to our country Faisal Abdulla Al-Henzab was a guest of the National Library of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the deputy director of the National Library, Adiba Ismayilova, greeted the ambassador and emphasized that she was pleased to see him in the library. The deputy director spoke about the history, work regime and fund of the National Library. Within the framework of the meeting, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 24, 2023, the guest was informed about the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the National Library of Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Faisal Abdulla Al-Henzab spoke about international mutual relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar and expressed his belief that these relations will develop further. Also, on behalf of the embassy, ​​he presented books reflecting Qatar's literature, history, culture, nature, etc. to the National Library.

At the end, the guest was presented with "Azerbaijan National Library" photo album, "Baku Symphony" book and a map of Azerbaijan.
