On August 25, 2023, Alim Bayel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to our country, was a guest of the National Library of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the meeting, in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 24, 2023, within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the National Library of Azerbaijan, which will be held in September of the current year, on the theme "The brotherhood of peoples is the brotherhood of literature", the 100th anniversary of the outstanding representative of Kazakh literature, Kemel Tokayev, and details about the roundtable discussion and the presentation of books dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the great writer and literary scholar Jalal Pashayev. The director brought to the attention of the ambassador the information about the Kazakhstan permanent corner created in the Hall of International Cooperation operating in the National Library.

The ambassador got acquainted with the National Library of Azerbaijan and expressed his pleasure to be here. At the same time, he got acquainted with "Heydar Aliyev corner", "Student youth service hall", "Children's department and children's recreation room", "Rare books and library museum" department.

At the end, the guest was presented with "Azerbaijan National Library" photo album, "Hello Azerbaijan", "Azerbaijan carpets in world collections" books and a map of Azerbaijan, and a commemorative photo was taken.
