On October 5, jubilee event jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Writers’ Union was held at the State Philharmonic Hall named after Muslim Mogamayev on the occasion of the 110^th anniversary of the birth of Suleyman Rustam (Rustamzadeh Suleyman Aliabbas) – one of the outstanding representatives of Azerbaijani literature, national poet, playwright, translator, public figure.

Book exhibition named “Suleyman Rustam – 110” was opened at the event by the National Library. The poet’s works and translations in Azerbaijani, Russian, French, German languages, books edited by him, books, newspapers and magazines written about the poet by various persons were on display. The exhibition caused great interest of the participants.
