On April 19, public figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representative of the international journal "World of Azerbaijan" in Kazakhstan, Nasikha Gumargizi, visited the National Library. She donated the book "KARABAKH –  A LONG WAY HOME”", which she authored, to the National Library.

From the author:

I dedicate it to the spirit of the victims of terrorism, genocide, Azerbaijani refugees, children who were killed innocently, and all the martyrs who died for the liberation of the occupied lands. To all those who have been through this hell! To all the Azerbaijanis who did not return and disappeared!! And to the brave mothers who brought up the real heroes of their country!

This book talks about Karabakh, the liberation of the ancient historical lands of the Azerbaijani people, the Karabakh, April and Homeland wars, which were fought for the recognition of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. The writing of the book started on November 8, when Azerbaijan won the Victory for freedom in the Patriotic War in 2020.

It is my personal idea to write about these events not only for Kazakhs, but also for a wide audience.

In order to understand the essence of the Karabakh conflict, every reader should learn the origin of this conflict, the cause and effect of this conflict that ended in the Patriotic War for the sake of the territorial integrity and long-awaited victory of the Azerbaijani people.

First of all, my mission is to convey all the truths about Khojaly, Karabakh to my Kazakh people, to every citizen of Kazakhstan, to the whole world.

The hardworking, creative, high moral culture of the Azerbaijani people and their army have high patriotism, fighting spirit and inexhaustible determination to win! It was these features that led to the victory and the liberation of the occupied lands. The people of Azerbaijan paid a great price for their victory and the road to their home, Karabakh, was very long!!!

I wrote this book with the call of my heart about the terrible and unforgettable events that happened in Karabakh, about the people of Azerbaijan. The Patriotic War turned into a war of liberation and it showed who was who.

Dear reader, whoever you are regardless of your nationality or status, I hope that after reading the book, you will come to the right conclusion. Take care, be happy and love your loved ones! Let's say no to wars and destruction together! I don't want to see the suffering of people on earth anymore! Let's say no to genocide, terrorism and the death of innocent children!!!
