April War, Four-day war — is a military conflict between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia, starting from the night of April 1-2, 2016.

During the four-day war, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces liberated the heights around Talish village, which could pose a threat to Goranboy district and Naftalan city, as well as the Seysulan precinct, and took control of the height called "Lalatapa" located in the direction of Fuzuli district. As a result of the fighting, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan ensured the control of the roads in the direction of Aghdara-Madagiz.

During the military operations, 88 servicemen of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces were killed, 1 Mi-24 helicopter was shot down, and 1 tank was destroyed during a mine explosion. In the fighting, 30 tanks, up to 15 artillery units and reinforced engineering units belonging to Armenians were destroyed, 320 fighters were killed and more than 500 fighters were wounded.
