On May 12, Mr. Nassar Al-Habashneh – the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the consul Saad Gharal had been in the National Library.

Director of the Azerbaijan National Library professor Karim Tahirov received the guests. After brief information about the library, Karim Tahirov spoke about the relations and book exchange between the libraries of these two countries. The ambassador expressed his hope to further strengthening and expanding of these relations, and noted that there would be mutual exchange of experience in the future.

Rare books, library’s museum and exhibitions organized at the exhibition hall, attracted the attention of the guests more and more, who were interested in the new types of working and automation processes.

At the end, books “Azerbaijan National Library, Photo album”, “Azerbaijan” (in Arabian language) and a map that reflecting cultural objects were presented to the guests.
