In 2024, Arif Mir Jalal oglu Pashayev, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani science, an academician of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and many international academies, an honored scientist, a laureate of the State Prize, the rector of the National Aviation Academy, turns 90 years old.

Taking into account the completion of 65 years of scientific activity of the academician, the fundamental bibliography from the series "Prominent personalities of Azerbaijan" was published by the National Library of Azerbaijan named after M.F. Akhundov.

Until now, several bibliographies have been compiled about academician Arif Pashayev. Taking into account that these bibliographies do not fully cover the work of the scientist, the National Library named after M.F. Akhundov prepared a more perfect fundamental bibliography and presented it for the use of specialists and readers. The newly published bibliography has been further improved, and new sections and subsections have been added.

The bibliographic index includes materials from 1960-2024. In the bibliography, academician Arif Pashayev's works - books, articles published in periodicals, magazines, works published in foreign languages, books for which he was an editor, forewords, scientific works for which he was a scientific advisor, scientific supervisor and opponent, as well as materials about the life and work of an outstanding academician. found the opposite.

The documents collected in the sections "Arif Pashayev in the world's national libraries" and "Arif Pashayev in the libraries of the world's universities" given in the bibliography are a clear proof of the wide spread of the academician's scientific heritage all over the world.
