An International Congress of Librarians dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the independence of Kazakhstan Republic continues its work in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, on 15-16 September, 2016. The XIX General Meeting of the Library Assembly of Eurasia was held at Kazakhstan National Academic Library, on the second day of the congress. From Azerbaijan National Library, Adiba Ismayilova – deputy director for reader service affairs, and Aygun Hajiyeva – head of scientific-research department attended the meeting. E-library project of the Library Assembly of Eurasia, admission of new members to the Assembly, organizing training courses and seminars in the libraries of different countries for specialists of member libraries, and other issues were discussed. In the meeting it was agreed to hold the next meeting in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, in October, 2017. The congress continues its work in 5 sections now.
