On April 17, an event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, People's Writer Anar and the presentation ceremony of Anar's multi-volume book "The World of Words" published by the Ministry of Culture was held at the National Library under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Library.

During the event, speakers who talked about the works of the People's Writer Anar called Anar a visiting card of the literature of the Turkish world, a living classic of today. Anar's creativity is multifaceted. He is an international writer. He is a great literary critic, screenwriter, director and folklorist. Anar is a writer who has done a lot of work for literature, and who has been doing a lot of work for the literature. He is one of the greatest restorers of our national memory. The book "Word World" is the word world of all Azerbaijani literature. Anar was also a very good philosopher and literary critic. This is an indicator of great talent and hard work.

The five-volume "World of Words" published by the Ministry of Culture includes review articles, portrait-essays, essays, memoirs written by the author in different years. Volumes I, II, III, IV of the book include articles dedicated to our literary history, classics and contemporaries from ancient times to the present day. Volume V is devoted to the issues of education, culture, and media.

At the end of the event, the participants got acquainted with the electronic database called "People's writer Anar" and a large book exhibition of the same name.
