On October 19, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism together with Azerbaijan National Library held the presentation of the book “Selected work” by poet and playwright Ramig Mukhtar.

Opening the event, director of the National Library prof. Karim Tahirov welcomed the guests and spoke about the life and work of poet, publicist and playwright Ramig Mukhtar.

Speakers, poet Ogtay Rza, poet and publicist Ramiz Mammadzadeh, economist Taleh Alakbarli, Hamid Jafarov who had worked as a secretary of Nakchivan Provincial Party Committee, Mammad Humbatov – film director at the Green Theatre, Alizamin Rasulov – candidate for sciences, journalist Telman Guliyev and others shared their feelings about Ramig Mukhtar, saying that he is a simple, hard-working and modest person. Speaking on behalf of his family, Hagiga Mammadova said that he is very good family head and elder.

After all, in his speech, the poet expressed his gratitude to the administration and staff of the National Library, and thanked to participants for attending the event.
