Regarding with the application of new automated library system ALISA program in regions, 10-day courses are regularly held in the Azerbaijan National Library in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The students of "ALISA-Integrated Library Management System and MARC-21" training held in the National Library’s training centre on 28 September – 07 October within the framework of the program "Improvement of the information technology infrastructure in libraries" were awarded with certificates.

Deputy Director of the National Library Gulbaniz Safaraliyeva, other colleagues and trainers of the National Library, Specialist of Ultra Company and specialists of Gobustan, Beylagan, Khojaly, Mingachevir, Goygol, Shamkir, Gadabay region Centralized Library Systems and Republican Children’s Library named after F.Kocharli participated in the event.

Within the framework of the training, the students familiarized with new working methods and new services occurring in the National Library visually. At the end, the students were awarded with certificates.
