On December 2, the joint project of Azerbaijan National Library and International Mugham Centre “Treasury of Mysteries” was launched at the National Library by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic. According to the project, series of literary-artistic musical gatherings devoted to the classics will be hold. The first event from this series was devoted to the sun of classic Azerbaijani poetry Mahammad Fuzuli.
Opening the event, director of the National Library professor Karim Tahirov greeted the participants of the event. He said that that event was a contribution to Fuzuli lovers, poetry lovers and music lovers. After the director speaking about great Fuzuli’s activity, one of the co authors of the project – director of the International Mugham Centre Murad Huseynov made a speech. In his speech he highly appreciated the implementation of such events at the National Library and hoped that the project would continue successfully.
At the event consisted of combination of poetry and music prominent representatives of our classic literature academician Teymur Karimli, associative member of ANAS Nizami Jafarov, vice-rector of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art professor Gulshan Aliyeva, Dean of the faculty of Philology at Pedagogical University professor Buludkhan Khalilov, Head of Garabagh department of the Writers’ Union professor Anvar Ahmed and other scientists delivered speeches, the Honored Artist Azad Shukurov performed the poems of the poet and the ghazals of the poet were performed by the Honored Art Worker Agil Melikov, Honored artists Gazanfar Abbasov, Feyruz Sakhavat, Ehtiram Huseynov, Huseyn Melikov throughout the event.
Book exhibition consisting of Fuzuli’s works caused great interest of the participants of the event.
The event was attended by the employees of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic, heads of the leading libraries of the Republic, Fuzuli lovers, and etc.
