As a participant in large-scale military operations since the early twentieth century, General Aliaga Shikhlinsky has written brilliant pages in military history with his bravery on the battlefield and his innovations in artillery theory. He played an exceptional role in the organization of national troops, the establishment of an independent army while establishing important state institutions of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, and in subsequent periods, remaining true to his military oath, contributed to the formation of the country's armed forces.
