Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts joined the book donation campaign jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Library in connection with the restoration of book collections of the libraries operating until the early 1990s in our territories which were liberated from the Armenian occupation as a result of the 44-day war by the victorious Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

Emphasizing the importance of the “Book Collection Campaign for the Libraries in the Liberated Areas” jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Library of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts donated 139 books in Azerbaijani, Russian and English to the libraries in the liberated areas. The books include new publications in the field of literary criticism, music, theater and cinema, valuable sources reflecting the statehood of Azerbaijan, the rich heritage of national leader Heydar Aliyev, dictionaries on our classical literature, as well as popular works of national and foreign writers.
