On April 28, a presentation ceremony of the book "Elchin's Theater: Absurd Drama in the Context of the Theory of "Fuzzy Logic"" authored by Iftikhar Piriyev, PhD in Art Studies, was held under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Library.
Director of the National Library Professor Karim Tahirov opened the event and greeted the participants. He said that today we have gathered in the National Library in the light of a work written on a very rare topic in Azerbaijani literature, as well as an outstanding person to whom this work is dedicated - people's writer Elchin Efendiyev. Teacher Elchin is a person who has made important contributions to the development of Azerbaijani culture and literary criticism.
If the works of Ilyas Efendiyev played a key role in the development of Azerbaijani theater art in the 20th century, today Mr. Elchin continues that tradition very successfully. It is not coincidence, because the subject matter of the works of both literary luminaries is directly related to the history, culture and traditions of Azerbaijan and directly describes real life. That is why these works are loved by our people. Giving information about the presented research work, the director said that the book explains the "grammar" of the plot situations of the dramaturgy of the People's Writer Elchin in the light of the "Fuzzy logic" theory of the great scientist Lotfi Zadeh. The paradoxical logic of absurd plays is defined. At the end of his speech, the director emphasized that I believe that this monograph will become a table book for literary critics, as well as theater critics and art critics.
Rustam Kamal, Professor of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, made a speech and said that the poetics of the Azerbaijani theater is a big topic in itself. The emergence and development of the theater is an interesting event in the life of every nation. Theater is a field that requires poetic fundamental research. Rustam Kamal noted that the application of the "Fuzzy logic" theory, which is mostly applied to technological processes, to literature can be considered the main success of this work. He emphasized that absurdity itself is a philosophical topic and we can see it mainly in the works of Mirza Jalil and Uzeyir Bey. In our modern times, teacher Elchin developed this tradition very perfectly and applied it to his works. In the end, he congratulated Iftikhar Piriyev on writing a work on such an interesting topic and wished him creative success.

He noted that the main principle of the "Fuzzy logic" theory is the violation of boundaries. Speaking about the presented book, Rafig Aliyev emphasized that the main thing that makes the book interesting is that it is based on a specific premise, and that it is written in an academic language is another factor that makes it valuable.
Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, professor Ganira Pashayeva said that I first got acquainted with the theory of "fuzzy logic" through the books of Khudu Mammadov, and then with the works of Lotfi Zadeh. Ms. Ganira, who informed about her meeting with Lotfi Zadeh, said that Rafig Aliyev played a big role in holding this meeting. It was after the meeting with Lotfi Zadeh that I had the opportunity to look at the theory of "Fuzzy logic" from a new window. She emphasized that writing a work about great personalities is a very difficult and responsible task. She expressed her gratitude to Rafig Aliyev, who closely helped in writing the work about Lotfi Zadeh and Fuzzy Logic Theory.
