Azerbaijan National Library organizes book exhibitions, exchanges books and resources and etc. in the field of library and information in cooperation with the National Library of China. For this purpose, in April, the Embassy of the Republic of China in Azerbaijan donated 243 copies of books in English and Chinese, 5 books in Russian, as well as 9 DVDs in English and 3 DVDs in Russian to the National Library of Azerbaijan. These books are placed in the permanent book corner of the People's Republic of China in the International Cooperation Hall of the National Library. Books on Chinese culture, literature, history, economy, architecture, painting, art and technology are displayed in the International Cooperation Hall. We believe that these new books included in the library’s collection will further enrich the collection of foreign literature of the National Library and will be of interest to readers.

It should be noted that the opening of the International Cooperation Hall took place on September 27, 2019. The opening ceremony was attended by Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla khanim Aliyeva, the Ministry of Culture, directors of the national libraries of the 13 countries, as well as their diplomatic representatives in Azerbaijan. At present, there are book corners of 14 countries in the International Cooperation Hall. In the international cooperation hall, it is possible to create a direct Internet connection with the libraries of those countries.
