The event was opened by the director of the National Library, Professor Karim Tahirov. He emphasized that similar events were held in the National Library in connection with the declaration of 2022 as the year of Shusha and more will be held. Professor Karim Tahirov also noted that the city of Shusha is an extremely dear and sacred place for our people, and love and attachment to this city is an integral part of the spiritual existence of every Azerbaijani. At the same time, he informed the event participants that the city of Shusha is the cradle of our national culture and art.

At the event, students of the State Administration Academy performed Chahargah mugham, "Ay Lachin" and "Ey Vatan" songs. In the continuation of the event, "Mountains of Shusha" and "Karabakh" dances were performed. Later, 3rd class pupils of secondary school No. 45 of  Narimanov district, performed the poem "Azerbaijan".

The active participants of the event were awarded with Certificate of Honor and Certificate of Appreciation and took a commemorative photo.
