The well-known literary critic, textualist, orientalist, poet and translator, academician Teymur Karimli is one of the prominent figures of Azerbaijani literary studies, distinguished by his own style, having his own place and weight. According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated October 2, 2023, Teymur Karimli was awarded the Order of Glory for his services in the development of the science of literary studies in Azerbaijan.

Teymur Karimli is a talented researcher and a skilled promoter of our classical literature. A traditional book exhibition was organized in the National Library, covering the scientific activities of academician Teymur Karimli, a tireless researcher of our classical literature.

In the exhibition, the Order signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on awarding the academician with the Order of "Fame", the books he authored, edited, scientific advisor and foreword, translated and written about him were reflected in the exhibition.

The exhibition will last for 1 week.
