Employees of Mukhtar Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of Kazakhstan, PhDs in philology Gulmira Saulembek and Ainur Ahmetova, visited the National Library of Azerbaijan. The guests got acquainted with the building of the National Library and reviewed the work process.

They were given detailed information about using the electronic catalog of the National Library in order to use Azerbaijani literature in their scientific activities. Also, the guests got acquainted with the Kazakh literature in the collection of the National Library.

While in the "Rare books and library museum" department of the library, they got acquainted with the ancient, unique and miniature books preserved in the museum, especially the publication " Казактын батырлык жырлары (2011)", which is a Kazakh folk heroic epic, with an elegant layout, aroused great interest in them.

The books exhibited in the "Kazakhstan" corner of the international cooperation hall and the possibility of direct access to the electronic catalog of the National Library of Kazakhstan through computers in the hall made a great impression on them.

In the end, Adiba Ismayilova, deputy director of the National Library for scientific affairs and library-information service, donated the book "Azerbaijan National Library: photo album" and the CD album "Traditional music of the peoples living in Azerbaijan" to the guests.

The guests expressed their desire to come to the National Library again.
