Today is the birthday of experienced educator, historian-teacher, researcher, poet-journalist Tarana Jabiyeva

Jabiyeva, daughter of Tarana Kommuna, was born on July 21, 1968 in Baku. In 1988-1994, he studied at the faculty of librarianship and information of Baku State University, and in 1999-2000, he studied history at the Main Institute of Professional Development and Retraining of Pedagogical Personnel of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He started his teaching career from his student years. Since 2001, at the same time, he began to cooperate with the editorial office of "The  Voice of East" newspaper. Since then, his scientific, artistic and journalistic creativity has flourished even more. He was promoted to the position of department head of "The  Voice of East" newspaper and deputy editor of "The Science and Education" newspaper.

"Abdulla Shaiq", "Hasan Bey Zardabi", "Golden Pen", "Honest Pen" and a number of other awards were awarded one after the other. The Republic of Azerbaijan was awarded the "Intellectual of the 21st Century" Honorary Award by the "Education" Center.

She regularly appeared in the media as a journalist, publicist, and historian, and published up to 1,000 articles about the material and cultural monuments of Azerbaijan, the ancient history of Baku villages, the problems of our national education, advanced educators, art, and cultural figures. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union.

On the occasion of the anniversary, the staff of the National Library of Azerbaijan prepared a virtual exhibition called "Tarana Jabiyeva". Photos, books and articles authored by Tarana Jabiyeva are displayed in the virtual exhibition.
