The Khojaly tragedy is an act of mass and merciless massacre, along with a manifestation of a policy of terror against the state independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, which is a cruel crime not only against Azerbaijanis, but also against humanity in general.

The brutal extermination of hundreds of civilians in Khojaly was one of the bloodiest crimes committed by Armenians on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan during the entire period of the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

In connection with the thirty-first anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, the staff of the National Library of Azerbaijan has prepared a virtual exhibition in English called "Khojaly genocide". The main purpose of preparing the photo exhibition in English is to inform the world community about the crimes committed by the Armenian aggressors. The virtual exhibition presents books (in English) and photographs dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy.
