Presentations of Sevindik Nasiboghlu’s “Dünyamsan Azərbaycan” (You’re my world, Azerbaijan!) and “Hərdən uçmaq istəyirəm” (Sometimes I want to fly) books were held in the National Library in association with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan National Library, on June 16, 2019.

Director of the National Library prof.Karim Tahirov welcomed the participants of the event. He said that he’s very pleased and proud to see such talented and young people who are enthusiastic about science, education and reading. “It is very commendable that Sevindik, who is ten years old, has already published two books” he added.

The event was also attended by Zahid Khalil, writer of children poems and Head of Chair at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, prof.Fuzuli Asgarli, prof.Asif Rustamli, Head of “Sizi tanıyaq” (Let’s get to know you!) project Vusala Galandarli, Sevindik’s family and others. They highly appreciated the event and congratulated the young poet on the publication of his books. “I read both of his books and made sure that he’s on the right way” said Zahid Khalil. Then, friends of Sevindik Nasiboghlu performed his poems.

Later, the young poet Sevindik Nasiboghlu was awarded the Certificate of Honor by AVMVİB (Azerbaijan Patriotic War Veterans Public Union) Sabunchu regional department for his “Dünyamsan Azərbaycan” (You’re my world, Azerbaijan) and “Hərdən uçmaq istəyirəm” (Sometimes I want to fly) books.

At the end of the event, the ten-year-old poet performed his “Zangazur” poem, and spoke of his future plans.
