On January 18, an event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the January 20 incident was held at the National Library. At the event, the memory of our martyrs who died for the independence of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence.

In the commemorative event, the incident committed against the people of Azerbaijan 33 years ago and the innocent victims were mentioned, the heroism of the sons of Azerbaijan started from this date. In addition, the bravery of our martyrs who were freed from the occupation of Karabakh lands was noted at the event.

During the event, poems were sung by the school in M. Rahim school number 7 of Sabail district, and a documentary film about the January 20 event was shown. After the event, they got acquainted with the Electronic Database prepared by the National Library and the link book dedicated to the January 20 event. The exhibition featured books and articles published in periodicals, which reflect the events that took place on the night of January 19-20.
