On October 19-20, the 10th International Congress dedicated to the 2023 "Year of Peace and Creativity" was held in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus. The congress, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Information and the National Library of Belarus, and co-organized by the Belarusian Library Association and the Fund for Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation of the Commonwealth of Independent States member countries, included leaders and representatives of national and other leading libraries from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia, as well as Employees of libraries, publishing houses, archives and museums of Belarus participate.

At the same time, in the congress where the exhibition of publishing products, electronic information resources and services was presented, there was a plenary session, four sections ("Library as a creative space", "Electronic information resources and services in the modern digital library environment", "Project initiatives of cultural and educational institutions and socio-cultural experience", "Scientific-organizational work of libraries") and two round tables ("Digital transformation of library activities", "Innovative activity of regional libraries: shaping trends"), there were reports, presentations and discussions.

Head of the Scientific Research and Methodological Support Department of the National Library of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. Aygün Koçak delivered a report and presentation on "Priority directions of the activity of the National Library of Azerbaijan" in the first section.
