According to the Order No. 4289 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated February 2, 2024, Professor Karim Tahirov, director of the National Library of Azerbaijan named after M. F. Akhundov, was awarded with the jubilee medal "100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-2023)".

On May 7, the ceremony of awarding the jubilee medal "100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-1923)" to cultural and artistic figures was held at the National Museum of Azerbaijan History.

At the event, medals were presented to cultural and artistic figures who were awarded the jubilee medal "100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-1923)".

It should be noted that according to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a group of cultural and artistic figures was awarded with the jubilee medal "100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev (1923-1923)" for their services in the socio-economic, scientific-technical and cultural development of the country, as well as in the state administration and social-political sphere, for the research and promotion of the legacy of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the realization of the idea of ​​Azerbaijanism.
