During the meeting, the director of the National Library, professor Karim Tahirov, greeted the guests and informed them about the National Library of Azerbaijan. The director of the National Library noted that he was very satisfied that the manuscripts related to Azerbaijani literature were preserved in the fund of the National Library of France. He brought to the attention of the guests the idea of ​​further developing the international book exchange between the National Library of Azerbaijan and the National Library of France, signing a memorandum on mutual cooperation. Karim Tahirov put forward the idea of ​​creating permanent corners in the libraries in order to develop international relations between the National Library of Azerbaijan and the National Library of France, the attache confirmed the idea of ​​wider recognition of Azerbaijan in France and noted that they will try to implement it through the embassy. The guests were informed that the 100th anniversary of the National Library of Azerbaijan will be celebrated at the international level in 2023.

During the conversation, the attache noted that he was happy to be in the National Library of Azerbaijan, and that there are books related to France in the collection of the National Library of Azerbaijan.

Then the guests got acquainted with the National Library.  At the end of the meeting, professor Karim Tahirov presented the guests with "Azerbaijan National Library" photo album, "Hello Azerbaijan", "Azerbaijani carpets in world collections" books, "Map of Azerbaijan".
