On December 5, the National Library participated in the forum on "Dialogue of cultural figures of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan: 30 years of successful cooperation".

For your information, on December 4-6, a forum on "Dialogue of cultural figures of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan: 30 years of successful cooperation" is being held in our country under the organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian Book House.

Director of the National Library of Azerbaijan Professor Karim Tahirov delivered a report at the forum. Speaking about the history of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, he emphasized that the National Library has close cooperation, information and experience exchange with many leading libraries of Russia, in particular, the State Library of Russia, the National Library of Russia, the Presidential Library, and the All-Russian Library of Foreign Literature. He said that the National Library carries out international book exchange with about 60 countries of the world. relevant literature is displayed. Also, the director spoke about the 8th Baku International Book Fair, organized in our country this year, and the events held by the National Library within the framework of the exhibition. Vugulyb said that the upcoming 100th anniversary of the National Library of Azerbaijan will be celebrated, and the next meeting of the Eurasian Library Assembly (UAE) will be held in Baku within the framework of the anniversary.
