On February 27, the Azerbaijan State News Agency - AZERTAC also joined the book collection campaign organized by the Ministry of Culture jointly with the National Library. A large-scale book collection campaign was organized to restore the book collections of libraries that operated until the early 1990s. in the previously occupied Azerbaijani territories. At present, these territories have been liberated from Armenian occupation as a result of a 44-day victorious war led by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

Representatives of the Azerbaijan State News Agency - AZERTAC noted that the “Campaign to collect books for the fund of libraries in the occupied territories”, organized by the Ministry of Culture and the National Library, is an important step towards the restoration of destroyed libraries. They donated 1829 copies of books, 595 copies of magazines and 95 newspapers to the library fund in the areas liberated from the occupation.
