As we all know, this year marks the 75th anniversary of the victory over fascism. Brave sons of our people played an important role in achieving the victory. More than 200,000 brave sons of Azerbaijan died in the battles for the motherland.

The book “Azerbaijan National Library during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)” (http://anl.az/down/AMK_Veten_Muh_illerinde.pdf) dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the historic victory over fascism is about the activities of the Azerbaijan National Library during the Great Patriotic War. The book written both in Azerbaijani and Russian reflects book delivery, readers’ attendance and the book collection of the library during the war, information-bibliography activity of the National Library, library service to wounded soldiers in hospitals, as well as organization of events and exhibitions related to the war.
