February 14 is celebrated as International Book Giving Day. It was founded in 2012 at the initiative of Emmy Broadmoor – the founder of “Delightful Children’s Books”, a well-known children’s book site in the USA, and gained extensive support and popularity through the social media all over the world. This is a day that unites all the people who donate books to children and make them love books.

On this occasion, the staff of the National Library has prepared a virtual exhibition entitled “14 February – International Book Giving Day”. The exhibition includes photos, books and articles on the International Book Giving Day.
